I am a Full Professor at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine, where I established my laboratory in 2011. I am the Chair of the Department of Human Genetics and Computational Medicine and as a member of the Tel Aviv University Board of Trustees. I earned my M.A. in Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, followed by postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School.

In my lab, we develop innovative approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer, with a particular focus on melanoma, the most aggressive and deadly form of the disease.

My research has been supported by highly competitive funding, including grants from the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA), as well as both ERC Consolidator and ERC Advanced Grants. My work has received international recognition, including the Young Melanoma Researcher Award from the International Society of Melanoma Research, the Mayent-Rothschild Sabbatical Award from the Marie Curie Institute, and the Kadar Family Award for Outstanding Research at Tel Aviv University.

Alongside my research, I am deeply committed to education, mentorship, and public engagement. Over the years, I have delivered hundreds of volunteer lectures to students and young audiences, aiming to inspire the next generation of scientists. My dedication to teaching has been recognized with both the Dean’s Award and the Rector’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
