Levy is a highly accomplished scientist with a master's degree from the Pharmacy Faculty at The Hebrew University and a PhD in biochemistry from the Hebrew University Medical School. They also completed postdoctoral studies at Harvard University, specializing in melanoma research. In 2011, Levy established their laboratory at Tel Aviv University within the Faculty of Medicine.
